SSC CGL 2024 Eligibility Criteria
- Nationality: Indian
- Age Limit: The minimum age limit is 18 years and the maximum age limit is 27-32 years (depending on the post). Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories as per the government rules.
- Educational Qualification: Graduation in any stream from a recognized university.
SSC CGL 2024 Selection Process
The selection process for the SSC CGL exam consists of three tiers:
- Tier-1: Computer Based Test (CBT)
- Tier-2: Computer Based Test (CBT) and Data Entry Skills Test (DEST)
- Tier-3: Document Verification and Medical Examination
SSC CGL Tier-I Exam Pattern
The Tier-I exam is a computer-based test consisting of four sections: Quantitative Aptitude, English Comprehension, General Intelligence & Reasoning, and General Awareness. Each section carries 50 marks and the total marks for the Tier-I exam are 200. The duration of the exam is 60 minutes.
SSC CGL Tier-II Exam Pattern
The Tier-II exam also consists of a computer-based test and a Data Entry Skills Test (DEST). The CBT comprises four sections: Mathematics, Statistics, English Language & Comprehension, and Computer Comprehension. The DEST is a qualifying test to assess the candidate’s skills in data entry using a computer keyboard.

- Visit the official website of the SSC at ssc.gov.in.
- Click on the link for “SSC CGL Tier II Admit Card 2025”.
- Enter your registration number and roll number.
- Click on “Submit”.
- Download your admit card and take a printout for future reference.
Important Points to Remember
- Candidates must carry their admit card, a valid photo ID proof, and a printout of their online application form to the exam hall.
- Admit cards will not be sent by post. Candidates can only download them from the SSC website.
